Ginger Cookies


Cream together:


1 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 cup molasses

2 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 tsp vanilla


In another bowl sift together:


4.5 cups flour

2 tsp baking soda

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tbsp ginger powder

½ tsp salt

½ tsp nutmeg

¼ tsp cloves


Combine, then chill in the fridge a few hours or overnight. Then roll out on floured surface and cut into shapes.

Bake 8-10 minutes at 350 F, until just done. 

Can put vanilla icing on them.
