Need six apples, peeled and cored.
Sauce:
1 ½ cups water
1 ½ cups sugar
¼ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
3 Tbsp butter.
Bring everything but the butter to a boil, then add the butter.
Dough:
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
⅔ cups butter
½ cup milk.
Combine until a dough, then roll out and cut into six squares. Place the peeled and cored apple into the square. Fill the core with a mixture of brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and butter. Wrap with dough, and place in a 9x13 pan, spacing them 1 inch apart. Pour sauce over apples and sprinkle with sugar.
Bake 375 F for 35 minutes.
